Intern – Talent Acquisition in
Summer 2025.
Your education is just the beginning – you’ll become an active member of our Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, and located in Pittsburgh, PA. During our 12-week internship program, you’ll tackle real-world challenges through impactful assignments, and work alongside our industry changemakers.
The Intern – Talent Acquisition will partner with the Talent Acquisition CoE to support special projects and day-to-day tasks with global recruitment initiatives. You’ll work alongside a small, but mighty team driving Howmet as a leader for acquiring and retaining the best talent!
Intern Impact Project: Early Talent Programs
The Intern – Talent Acquisition will work our global HR teams to help with development of our Early Talent Programs.
Using your first-hand experience and technical aptitude, the intern will help us to develop our recruitment marketing outreach to students on our various social media channels. You’ll have the opportunity to create content for our company Handshake page and design the Howmet Aerospace Early Talent Programs page featured on our company website.
At the close of the summer program, you’ll present your project to our HR teams and senior leadership and have your initiatives live on our company careers page.
A Day In The Life At Howmet…
In addition to your impact project work, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Develop engaging job postings that highlight early talent opportunities at Howmet
- Create recruitment marketing campaigns, promotional content, and outreach strategies
- Consult with various teams, including Communications, Talent Management, Learn, Corporate HR, HR Technology, etc.
- Learn our applicant tracking system, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, and identify areas of opportunity
- Analyze and improve existing global Talent Acquisition processes
Qualifications
Your Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field with an expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Proficient with digital literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation
- Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity
- Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Compensation for this internship opportunity ranges between $20- $22 per hour. (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
A relocation stipend in the amount of $3,000 will be provided to students located 50+ miles from the physical location of the internship.
