Analyst, Airport Business Partner Portfolio Management (LSC)
Position Summary
The Analyst, Airport Business Partner Portfolio Management is responsible for managing the network portfolio of a designated Airport Business Partner, acting as the primary liaison between JetBlue and the business partner. The Analyst ensures portfolio efficiency by collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve JetBlue’s financial and operational objectives. Utilizing various pricing models, such as Cost+, the Analyst optimizes operational goals and financial effectiveness. Responsibilities include overseeing staff/hours management, financial analysis, schedule analysis, operational analysis, and other aspects of portfolio management. This role is integral to the Airports Business Partner Development team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Business Partner Development.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and operational performance of the selected Business Partner.
- Assess risk, recommend adjustments, and ensure alignment with JetBlue’s financial and operational goals.
- Monitor industry trends, conduct financial research, and provide insights to optimize Business Partner portfolio performance.
- Supports JetBlue Management in the execution of the operational strategy.
- Evaluates daily Business Partner Crewmember shift schedules and assignments to ensure maximum efficiency during regular and irregular operations. Must be able to stay ahead of any potential staffing challenges during both regular and irregular operations. Additionally, the Airports Business Partner Portfolio Analyst should be able to plot and assign Business Partner Crewmembers to all applicable areas as needed.
- Create portfolio performance reports.
- Master the use technology and platforms used in staff management and analysis, for example, Inform.
- Continuously evaluate relevance of portfolio analytics tools and research for the current operational mix and station conditions.
- Proactively and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the local teams have the appropriate information needed to effectively run the station.
- Other duties as assigned, including special projects.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of analytical experience
- One (1) year of airline industry contract and finance experience
- Available for overnight travel (15%)
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft 365
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- College degree
- Three (3) years of airline industry contract and finance experience
- In depth knowledge of Cost+ financial modeling

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understanding how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $62,400.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
