Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 10 years progressively responsible management/supervisory experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) preferred.
Position Purpose:Manage all aspects of PBI Service Center Operations. Develop and maintain an effective organization to achieve or exceed safety, operational, customer satisfaction and financial goals set for the facility.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Guide and direct the PBI management team. Establish goals, objectives and priorities for the facility consistent with corporate objectives .
- Plan, develop and execute long range business objectives. Develop and implement policies and procedures in support of Gulfstream's Vision, Strategy, and Values .
- Establish and monitor policies and procedures to enhance the day-to-day safety of employees and protection of customer aircraft .
- Oversee the training of employees to ensure that employees are aware of and comply with company and government policies, procedures and regulations .
- Establish and achieve financial budgets and goals for the facility .
- Coordinate, as necessary, with business areas (ie CS Sales) outside of the span of control .
- Creates annual goals for facility and implements strategies to enhance employee safety and quality, accuracy and efficiency of department work processes .
- Work closely with management team to plan aircraft material and labor to meet PBI business plan .
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
- Ability to successfully manage profit/loss responsibilities.
- Must have demonstrated leadership ability and possess strong communication skills.
