ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain and support network infrastructure services at airport in accordance with business and functional requirements, using appropriate SITA standards, policies and processes across multiple projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design & deployment of SITA WAN/LAN infrastructure at airports in accordance with agreed standards, meeting the agreed technical and functional business requirements and specifications.
- Ensures the integration of the requirements matches that of interacting systems applications and services both inside and outside of SITA in the wider airline community.
- Participates in full lifecycle of multiple small to medium projects ensuring the solution(s) developed are able to sustain the projects' functional and business requirements.
- Ensures all risks and issues that affect the project are raised following set processes and are actioned appropriately. Escalates risks and issues that pose a significant impact to deliverables.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- At least 8 years’ experience in implementation or support network infrastructure platforms with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- B.E. or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, telecommunication or similar
- Proven expertise and knowledge of state-of-the-art network related technologies. Mastering LAN, WAN, routing, switching, firewalling is a must. At least CCNP/CCIP or similar certification.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco MPLS L3 VPN and Cisco ASA firewall is a must.
- Expertise in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, and configuration of network elements for an international telecom service provider or at least in a large and complex enterprise LAN/WAN environment.
- Expert skills in MS Visio
- Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly interact with internal stakeholders but also external vendors and business partners and able to represent SITA
- Strong knowledge of standard engineering principles, theories, concepts, and methodologies (Requirement’s definition/analysis, design, tests, documentation
- Team spirited, hard worker and Strong organizational skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
- SD-WAN (Cisco or Versa) desirable.
