Job Objectives
Lead the team to meet performance targets for all inbound and outbound orders within Warehouse Operation to meet internal and external customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- To plan and delegate team priorities on a daily basis to ensure a smooth operation in a 24/7 set up
- Responsible for the local management, performance reporting and resolution of issues relating to inbound, outbound and stock replenishment material flows.
- Initiates root cause analysis and other problem solving techniques to resolve performance issues.
- Establish interface with relevant internal stakeholders to support customer program orders e.g. CSL, AMI, IMS, CRS etc
- Ensures necessary organisational understanding and operational tools are in place to achieve export/import compliance in all Satair operations
- To maintain an overview of weekly and monthly work activities for resource planning
- To ensure the personal and professional development of team members through relevant training in cooperation with HR
- Ensure team members are aware and perform in accordance to procedures in Company Management System
- Participate in all internal and external audits
- Hold regular safety training meetings to ensure safety measures are met and team members have a safe work environment
- Ensure compliances with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Conduct regular team meetings to keep team members up to date on company information and operational updates.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Lead and/or support on operational issue with appointed forwarders or domestic transportation service providers
- Lead and/or support custom related topics pertaining to inbound/outbound shipments
- Be the focal point for all authorities’ license and permit required for handling, storing and transporting controlled/strategic products
- Provide Monthly KPI reporting and statistics to line manager with appropriate commentary
- Support all improvement initiatives within global logistics organisation
- To work in backup capacity mode with other team leads within warehouse functions
- Ensure coordination of tasks between other functions within Warehouse in cooperation with other team leads
- To maintain and develop the quality level in all aspect of Warehouse
- To ensure Warehouse facility are kept safe and clean at all time
- Suggest any form of improvement within own function and implement where agreed with line manager

Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge in supply chain management and warehouse operations
- Strong knowledge about the aerospace aftermarket, customer services and after sales operations in the aviation industry
- Good knowledge of SAP R/3
- Good knowledge about IT systems, process governance and quality management, ideally in the aviation context
- Certified in Dangerous Goods Management
- Minimum 5-10 years working experience
- Working knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
- Strong business acumen
