We are looking for a strategically thinking and innovative Product Manager – Acars Datalink for our mission-critical Flight Operations solutions platform. Primary focus will be on our Communications Platform dealing automated Air-Ground and Ground-Ground data traffic as well as the optimization and coordination of flight operations with ATC. In this position, you will have touchpoints with all integrated systems across the platform and will be responsible for defining and building out new capabilities and features that further enable the platform. Your business knowledge and flight operations background will be leveraged to collaboratively work with other groups such as our SCRUM teams, marketing, sales, technology/development, finance, quality assurance and delivery to make your products a success.
The role we are offering you:
- Analyze the market and actively seek our customers’ input to understand the challenges they are facing in their operation
- In alignment with strategic initiatives and the vision of the platform, you will generate feature ideas and work with our SCRUM teams to design functionalities which help solve those market problems and add value for our customers
- Use your business knowledge and flight operations background to leverage it collaboratively with other groups such as marketing, sales, technology/development, finance, quality assurance and delivery to make your products a success
Our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 3 years aircraft data link experience across two or more FMS types and one or more data service providers.
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple cultures across numerous time zones Superior strategic mindset, grasp of the macro view and how to apply it in the day-to-day
- Strong innovative capacity and thought leadership
- Structured and critical thinking skills, ability to distill ambiguous and complex information into meaningful insights and sometimes contradictory requirements into feasible feature designs
- Proactive and outgoing attitude, Excellent team player with the ability to lead via influence, credibility through commitment to excellence, integrity, and transparency
- Full professional fluency in English language Ability and willingness to travel
The following will be considered as a plus:
- 5 years’ experience with aircraft data link across multiple different FMS types and data service providers.
- Previous ATC Coordinator dealing with complex EU or FAA airspace sectors
- Previous Airline Flight Operations expertise with an understanding of regulatory frameworks, airspace management authorities, and civil aviation authorities worldwide
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Aeronautical Science, and/or Master of Business Administration Degree
- Previous experience designing, creating, and/or implementing integration of data between multiple products
- Previous experience managing the budget for a product or business unit Hands-on experience with cross-functional, agile teams
- Product Management experience and\or Project Management experience
Location:

- We operate a hybrid working approach (3 days per week in the office).
