Tasks
The long-term success of Austrian Airlines is our first priority. We are constantly evaluating the adjustments we need to make in order to remain the #1 airline in Vienna and Austria.
- You research and analyze market and competitive information, from which you derive and process relevant insights
- You help developing strategic initiatives (e.g. on sustainability, vehicle fleet or digitalization) and to functional departments within Austrian Airlines
- You contibute to the development of strategic concepts, presentations, decision papers and profitability evaluations
- You assist with the preparation of (ad hoc) analyses and reports for the Executive Board and Senior Management
- You support the team in the decision-making process through profound analysis and comprehensive presentations of complex topics
- You communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements
While previous work experience is a plus – we are mainly looking for an aviation enthusiast with a motivated and self-driven personality. Someone who is a problem solver and enjoys working together in a great team!
- You have successfully completed your 3rd semester of studies in business, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable program
- You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment must be enclosed with the application)
- You are interested in trends and developments in the aviation industry and beyond (travel and mobility)
- You have strong communication skills and a problem-solving skills
- You have a structured approach to work, commitment and the ability to work in a team
- You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
- You can use the MS Office programs very well
- You have an unrestricted work permit for Austria/ the European Union
