Summary
The HR Business Partner is responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource functions including Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Communications & Engagement, Welfare, Performance Management and Learning & Development etc. The incumbent is expected to provide business partnering advice to business units and drive HR initiatives at the divisional level.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate HR functions which include Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Communications & Engagement, Welfare, Performance Management and Learning & Development etc.
- Work closely with stakeholders of various business divisions including providing HR policy and Employment Act guidance and interpretation on HR matters and supports the business units to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Provide recommendations and support in formulating and implementing new HR initiatives and strategies
- Responsible for all staff movement procedures
- Provide HR advisory and solutions to internal stakeholders on people related issues.
- Drive key HR project and initiative to fulfil the overall HR strategy that drive organization’s business objective
- Ensure compliance and consistent HR policies and practices in line to the business needs and labor legislative requirements, and maintain a thorough knowledge in areas such as Singapore Employment Act, Fair Labor standards, and other regulatory requirements
- Handling of staff grievances and manage labor relations on alignment with Company’s directions and represent the management during labor negotiations
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of Singapore labour law and HR “best practices” in the market
- 5 years of experience in HR business partnering
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and self-driven for task completion
