JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision from the Supply Chain Manager, performs a variety of duties in material handling, part delivery and pulling parts from production runs, or pull sheets generated by inventory system.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pulls and delivers parts to shop floor/production cells for active jobs and up-coming work requirements in production flow.
- Consistently walks production floor moving parts bins and carts from cell to cell.
- Delivers material companywide for production and administrative services.
- Place incoming parts into store and bin locations for efficient material storage and handling.
- Efficiently picks customer & facilities orders, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is delivered.
EDUCATION:
- Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
EXPERIENCE:
- Material store, receiving/final confirmation with exposure to freight bills, supplier packing sheets, production routings parts or other relative experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have the ability to operate forklift after company-provided training
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Role requires physical demands; such has heavy lifting and continuous movement throughout the day
- Mathematical aptitude
- Computer Savvy
Working conditions are normal for both the administrative and manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Working in the manufacturing environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses and gloves.
