We are now looking for CARGO SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER to join the Cargo Operations team and take full ownership in managing a regional business area and it's development, costs, partners, compliance and other activities jointly with other stakeholders within Finnair Cargo. This consists of ensuring safety and security aspects of the given area, process development , stakeholder management, cost control, performance management and all other required areas to ensure the given business area is performing well. Cargo Service Delivery Manager is also a part of Cargo Operational leadership team (COLT) and joins in collaborating and developing Finnair Cargo’s all operational activities. This role is mid senior role in a heart of Cargo Operations and reports to Head of Cargo Operations. Our working languages are English and Finnish. Cargo Service Delivery Manager is responsible for: Responsibility and ownership of the given area’s business development. Lead and develop the business area’s team. Lead the regional team or partner in the given area and ensure the development of people and processes. Leading by example, and using LEAN methods to achieve set KPIs. Continuous development of all operational processes within the given area to support Finnair Cargo performance. Establishing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with all relevant internal and external interest groups and service partners / subcontractors. Cost control of the given business area. Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of air freight processes for Finnair Cargo in the given area and building a safe and secure working environment for the employees. Complying with all applicable business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements. Ensuring all regulatory training requirements for the given team is met and their records are maintained. To succeed as our Cargo Service Delivery Manager it is essential that you’ll have: Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication & organizational skills. Strong teamwork, collaborative approach and 'Can-do-attitude' (energetic and enthusiastic). Ability to adapt in a changing environment and be able to develop processes toward reaching set KPI’s. Proven change management track record in complex multi stakeholder environment. Good spoken and written Finnish & English. Commercial mindset and customer experience oriented attitude. Ability to understand financial impacts of operations. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role. In addition we highly appreciate positive drive, independent approach to work as well as both motivation and ability to learn.
