The F135 Partnership Program Management Office (PPMO) team is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Collins Subcontractor Control Account Manager (CAM). This position is a member of the F135 Collins Partner Program Management Team and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the integration of Collins hardware and labor cost and schedule data, as well as day to day activities on the F135 Program.
The F135 Collins Subcontractor CAM is responsible for the management of all F135 Collins Production contracts using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) cost & schedule methods.
The Collins PPMO team provides design/development engineering services, production and spares hardware delivery and field support for the F135 Engine and Controls System components, including engine controls, pumps, actuators, electrical systems and sensors.
You will own the budget, schedule, and the technical responsibility required in reporting monthly Integrated Program Management Report data to the Joint Program Office. You will be responsible for assisting the PPMO team and Production PMO in handling all aspects of the F135 Production contracts, liaising between P&W and Collins’ PMO.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and monitor Collins’s hardware and labor cost and schedule data for all active F135 Collins Production Subcontracts utilizing EVMS methods and principles via EVMS tools such as Primavera, Dassian, eCSVAR, wInsight, and WebEVM.
- Facilitate monthly EAC and IMS meetings with other Collins’ program managers and CAMs, the JPO, and the DCMA to identify and address potential hardware and labor cost and schedule risks and opportunities, as well as conducting Integrated Monthly Program Reviews (IPMR), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Planning & Scheduling reviews, etc.
- Support various program and subcontracting activities through weekly and monthly integrated program meetings as well as executive program reviews. Review and approve Collins baseline change requests (BCR) and work release authorizations (WRA) in accordance with the Subcontract statement of work (SOW). Manage Collins purchase order (PO) process through coordination with EV, Finance, Procurement, and Program Management.
- Interface with Collins CAMs and program managers to investigate root cause of cost and schedule variances and drive recovery plans for production hardware and labor and communicate to JPO and DCMA as part of the monthly EV business rhythm.
- Analyze Collins cost and schedule EV data to assesses progress and work remaining for all Collins Production control accounts through coordination with P&W and Collins EV analysts and Program Management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years’ experience in EVMS and relevant technical experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, and project management experience, including tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera experience required.
- 2+ years’ experience in Program Management, operations management or supply chain.
- 2+ years’ experience working within a lean manufacturing environment
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 2+ years’ experience in leading continuous improvement projects within supply chain, operations, or another related role
- Proven strong leadership skills to include fostering teamwork, performance management, people development and transparency
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative on driving positive business results
- Experienced in building strong relationships with internal & external customers through commitment, credibility and transparency
- CORE or other lean manufacturing/continuous improvement operating experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
