You will be part of the marketing team in iShopChangi, the tax and duty-free online platform of Changi Airport, responsible in leading the category marketing in key portfolios – Electronics, Fashion, Lifestyle and Home & Living – covering growth strategy, category development and campaigns execution in the Non-traveller segment. Job Description
- Strategise, develop and implement an accelerated sales & marketing growth strategy for the categories under management
- Plan, implement and handle end-to-end execution of major category initiatives including crafting of key messages, campaign mechanics and content framework across multiple publicity channels
- Continually review the process and post evaluation of activities and create new ways of working to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of future sales campaigns
- Conduct frequent market research and analysis on competitor landscape and to understand sellers/buyers’ requirements and behaviour relative to category portfolio
- Handle weekly to monthly content management for categories under management not limited to website banners, category and campaign pages, eDMs and social media channels
- Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships which will aid the growth strategy of categories under management
- Retain and optimize key account relationships by way of Key Account Managers to drive overall sales volumes and category branding; and to ensure promotional competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key merchants within the categories under management
- Joint responsibility of category P&L with Business Development Category Leads, growth, and customer experience of the categories under management
Requirements
- Minimally 5 years of working experience in brand management and/or category marketing. Preference for candidates with brand P&L management inhouse.
- Relevant industry experience in minimally two out of five of these categories: Electronics, Fashion, Lifestyle and Home & Living portfolio.
- Experience in developing and crafting campaign strategies with a proven track record of securing exponential sales and new customer growth
- Excellent analytical capabilities, and negotiation and communication skills
- Strong experience in briefing and managing multiple creative agencies and production agencies at any given point in time.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative with projects and anticipate issues of concern
- Positive attitude and able to work independently, but also collaborate as an effective team member in shared knowledge and best practices
- Disciplined organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to broadly influence and effectively forge partnerships both internally and externally
- Experience in digital campaign management and a background in e-Commerce will be an advantage
