Synopsis
The Digital Product Manager (Booking) is responsible for developing and executing a strategy related to our Digital booking channel that will drive revenue, customer retention and engagement through innovative ecommerce initiatives. This role is responsible for continually driving and maximizing our conversion rates by spearheading innovative product features that drives business objectives and KPI’s.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to engaging within cross departmental areas (both internal and external) to define, establish and manage a constantly evolving ecommerce flow with a keen eye for customer centric designs. Candidate will be responsible for data-driven decision making and leverage insights to drive product enhancements and strategic decisions.
Accountabilities
Develop, maintain, and execute a product roadmap to achieve business goals of revenue growth, increase digital share/footprint & own the end-to end management of booking experiences
· Partner with cross- functional and technical teams to develop positioning of the product and ensure product differentiation from competitors
· Manage relationships with third parties’ providers for enhancing customer journey
· Monitor and evaluate product performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement
· Identify, lead and drive business opportunities for Digital revenue optimisation and conversion of Digital Booking processes through consistently optimising product capabilities and developing unique value propositions
· Define and drive strategies and long-term vision to build competitive digital products for the overall website & booking flow (including and not limited to Loyalty booking redemptions)
Education & Experience
- 7+ years’ experience working in product management with strong analytical skills
- Experience in usability, customer experience and Design thinking is preferred
- Working knowledge in airline Reservations, Ticketing, Fares and Pricing and Revenue Accounting mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent is preferred
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner or equivalent is desirable
- Experience with Agile development methodologies including SAFe, Scrum and Lean Portfolio Management
- Demonstrated success in defining, delivering and launching products
- Technical and business operations knowledge with proven ability to drive solutions
- Experience defining vision and strategy for a technical product
- Working knowledge and Experience with key PSS systems (Sabre, Amadeus etc)
