We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager who will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing our clients Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring commitment to the highest standards of operational safety is continuously upheld and improved.

Reporting directly to the Accountable Manager, you will collaborate closely with all personnel to ensure a culture of safety is embedded in every aspect of their operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Risk Management and Safety Promotion:
- Facilitate effective risk management practices and increase safety awareness across all departments.
- Disseminate the Safety Policy and provide guidance on safety-related matters.
- Safety Management System (SMS) Oversight:
- Manage the SMS, ensuring it is developed, implemented, and regularly updated.
- Analyze various safety information sources, including EASA, DSAC, OSAC, BEA reports, and industry publications.
- Prioritize safety directives from authorities and assess their relevance for in-depth analysis.
- Collect and evaluate safety information on incidents and accidents.
- Analyze reports on operational, airworthiness, and maintenance events.
- Initiate and follow up on internal investigations related to safety feedback, fatigue, and incident reports.
- Accident Prevention:
- Promote accident prevention through access to bulletins and reports on aviation incidents and accidents.
- Ensure comprehensive safety training is available for all staff and meets acceptable standards.
- Provide advisory support on safety-related concerns.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Management:
- Identify hazards, evaluate associated risks, and manage them accordingly.
- Initiate safety studies as needed and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
- Monitoring Mitigation Measures and Corrective Actions:
- Oversee the execution of risk mitigation measures and corrective actions to minimize identified risks.
- Personnel Training in SMS:
- Ensure all personnel receive appropriate SMS training relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
- Safety Communication:
- Effectively distribute safety information, risk assessment findings, and mitigation measures to all staff.
- Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization, the Maintenance Organization, and external entities impacting safety, such as airports, workshops, and subcontractors.
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Maintain updated SMS documentation in collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring Manager.
- Prepare and present regular safety performance reports, including compliance summaries and updates on safety actions.
- Regulatory Vigilance:
- Monitor ongoing safety-related developments and notify authorities as required about safety events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of aviation safety regulations and SMS principles under EASA.
- Experience in risk management, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
- Ability to interpret and analyze safety data and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and external authorities.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective safety training.
- Experience in preparing and presenting detailed safety performance reports.
- Fluent in written French and English.
- You must hold the right to live & work in an overseas department and region of France.
This position requires relocation to the West Indies in the Caribbean.
