As a Senior Manager - Financial Planning, you will be at the forefront of our financial strategy, playing a pivotal role in crafting our future. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team where your insights and expertise will drive our business forward.
Day to day
- As the Finance lead in the Customer & Operations, and People division alongside your team of 6 direct reports, you will create useful, insightful output that will help the business to organise and see through its objectives – ensuring delivery as planned, or that deviations to plan are communicated and mitigated
- Effectively business partner executive leadership with financial analysis, scenario planning, and long-term strategy.
- Run and optimise reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial plans aligned with company goals and market conditions.
- Analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Actively seeks and identifies profit making / cash generating opportunities and leads on these building convincing business cases and gaining support.
- Coordinate and lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to drive informed strategic decision-making.
About you
- Qualified Accountant, in ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in developing financial cases for complex business strategies and the ability to devise and follow up on profit improvement programs.
- Role model great financial leadership to both your people and the wider Finance department.
- Previous experience of successfully managing a team of Finance professionals
- An effective Finance Business Partner driving change and improvements that align to the organisations objectives.
- Keen eye for detail and the skill to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Outstanding proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
