Open Position as IT Deskside Support Analyst

Main duties and Responsibilities
The IT Deskside Support Analyst will be based at our gategourmet unit at Arlanda. You are responsible for providing 1st Line and 2nd Line IT technical support to the business as well as to support IT projects as needed. The purpose of the service is to resolve all IT support issues and service requests reported to gategroup's IT Service Desk and to handle all support cases and service requests, which need to be escalated to internal or external 3rd party support providers. Since the support covers all operations in Sweden, the position includes frequent trips to mainly our other Swedish units but also to other units in the region.

- Supporting and maintaining all deskside technologies
- Second line troubleshooting of IT incidents raised by colleagues through our Global Service Desk
- Managing and documenting daily workload using our IT Service Management tool
- Taking ownership of incidents/requests and collaborating with third parties until resolution
- Responsibility for IT hardware and inventory
- Managing stock control, ensuring appropriate levels of IT stock are held at the allocated locations
- Supporting deskside equipment relocation and provision onsite and between offices
- Handling the recycling of redundant IT hardware, following agreed disposal processes
- Frequently travelling between gategroup units in the region providing support, as and when required
- Playing a key role in the adoption and promotion of new technology
- Participating in major global projects and rollouts as well as acting project manager for local initiatives

Professional Skills:
- Experienced in IT device management on the enterprise level
- Experienced in PC, printer and associated hardware systems
- Experienced in modern Microsoft Office products, and miscellaneous software in the deskside environment
- Experienced in Active Directory, Intune and domain administration
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management as well as ServiceNow is meritorious
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Enthusiastic to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Experience of and ability to communicate and operate effectively, both with team and customer
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with a degree of autonomy
- Possess or working towards Microsoft Certifications is meritorious
Communication and language skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English skills are a must
