The role
This is an important position within the context of our safety culture within the Airport, providing your colleagues with best practice emergency preparedness & response training. Your core responsibilities will be:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Incident Management (Strategic, Tactical and Operational levels).
- Continually assess and update the training materials to respond to new threats, technological advancements and regulatory requirements.
- Own and manage the Learning Management System.
- Coordinate and schedule training, ensuring all necessary recipients complete required training.
- Manage rosters and liaise with internal departments to ensure release of colleagues for training.
- Deliver simulated exercises and real-world scenario training.
- Conduct pre and post training assessments.
- Gather and report feedback.
- Promote overall EMP culture.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- An understanding of Emergency Management principles, practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of various training methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Incident Command and JESIP principles.
- Track record of developing and delivering training programmes.
- Experience within incident and emergency management.
- Experience in delivering live and tabletop exercises.
- Certificate of the CBCI (not mandatory)
- A recognised training qualification.
