Job Description:
We are looking for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join our team at Airbus Portugal GBS!
Responsibilities - your mission
Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000.
Position Summary:
Supply Chain and Quality Manager to act as enabler of collaboration between multiple T1 suppliers (integrators) and sub tier suppliers.
The job holder will manage recovery governance between integrators and subtier suppliers in order to maintain alignment with Airbus Industrial system during the recovery phase.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate Recovery plan between multiple suppliers
Lead Recovery Meetings between Tier 1 and SubTier suppliers (eg. ADE)
Coordinate with Airbus Industrial system the prioritization of deliveries and ensure adherence to plan
Communicate to internal stakeholders the latest status.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
Digital background
Past experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including Process management aspect
Knowledge of EN9100 desirable
Communication and Change management skills
Ability to write emails in English and French, to communicate on the phone or via emails with suppliers and Airbus employees
Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiations
Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
A degree in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Able to travel domestically and internationally when needed
Shows a lot of rigor and concentration at work
