What You Will Do
- Support activities and technologies related to commercial and military gas turbine hardware. Hardware responsibilities include components found in the Fan, Low Pressure Compressor and High Pressure Compressor.
- Support the development of project plans, meet/maintain schedules and budgets, track progress, identify, recommend and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations; forecast project revenues, monitors costs and re-estimates project costs to maximize project profitability and ensure business targets are met.
- Analyze data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.
- Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Meet program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).
- Travel up to 10%.
What You Will Learn
- How to facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- How to monitor and assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- How to work with suppliers to quote and produce development hardware.
- How to construct technical presentation and report out to customers.
- Learn design and fabrication of turbine static hardware.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in aerospace or defense industries.
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience.
- Experience with project management, planning, and effectively leveraging teams across organizations to accomplish goals.
- Experience with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
