JOB SUMMARY
Talent Planning, Performance & Leadership Development Manager is responsible deployment and maintenance of Swissport talent & performance review programs across CEMEA. This role will be reporting to Head HR CEMEA & Head of Learning CEMEA, and will support country HRBP’s to deliver and sustain an integrated suite of talent management and high potential programs and processes. This includes working with HRBP’s and country management to drive adoption and ongoing utilization of core talent management processes. They will manage talent reviews, an integrated performance management process, and support leadership initiatives and career development at Swissport.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Management & Performance
- Roll-out as the point of contact and support the adoption of an integrated Talent Planning & Performance process as opposed to the current event-driven, “check-the-box” approach used in many business units
- Support and guide leaders and HR professionals to differentiate talent more clearly, uses tools provided by Global and equip senior leaders to discuss talent differently – leading to better decisions about their talent
- Maintain a bench of “ready now” leaders who can step into key leadership roles when the opportunity presents itself
- Drive greater clarity, consistency and objectivity in the judgments we make about the issues of talent potential and readiness using industry best practices
- Reinforce values in key talent management processes
- Serve as organizational SME in Talent Planning & Performance.
- Build relationships with senior business leaders and their teams, with HRBPs and fellow HR Centers of Excellence (COE)
- Maintain a strong connection to industry leaders of Talent & Performance and continue development of personal and team subject matter expertise; work with clients to assess the need and leverage best practices internally
Leadership Development
- Organize, coordinate, implement and follow up the Swissport Leadership Training programs in CEMEA as project leader.
- Facilitate trainings as required.
- Evaluate training and development programs if requested by COE, amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the business need and according to organization’s overall training strategy
- Analyze Cluster-specific training needs and engage in the design of programmes that create a clear career path from first line manager through to the executive team so that leadership potential is developed in line with CEMEAI organisational roles.
- Evaluate, and develop a team of Leadership training professionals to ensure that the organization’s leadership development strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets in CEMEA
- Ensure new training methodologies incorporated into development approach
- Support leaders, employees and HRBP’s regarding training and personnel development for talent, Commercial teams and Stations Managers
- Support leadership assessment programs as point of contact for the region
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree required and minimum of 2-3 years of experience in leadership development.
- Proven results in design and delivery of programs and processes that build leadership bench strength (e.g. methods for selection, assessment, performance management, development and talent management/succession planning).
- Ability to proactively manage large, multi-year projects to ensure budgets, schedules & performance criteria are met.
- Experience integrating competencies into organizational initiatives that build leadership bench strength.
- Proven experience in change management.
- Evidence of being a strong team player with the ability to facilitate leadership training programs, team building, develop effective partnerships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels to accomplish goals.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; delivers clear, concise and influential messages both verbally and in writing.
- Full proficiency in English. Being multilingual is a plus.
- Platform and facilitation skills including the ability to deliver interactive presentations, meetings and build consensus.
- Train The Trainer Qualification.
- Certified in leadership assessment programs i.e Hogan or similar will considered an advantage.
- Willingness/ Ability to travel - Schengen visa or European passport a must.
