As an Engineering Graduate, you will be assigned to a team that provides aircraft Maintenance and Engineering support, ensuring that work is carried out to the required standards. Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring the engines meet both Regulatory requirements and OEM standards to achieve the highest possible dispatch reliability for the aircraft engines and reducing flight cancellations.
Your responsibilities as an Engineering Graduate will include:
Provide continuing airworthiness management for A320 and A330 series aircraft.
Evaluate instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICA) e.g. ADs, SBs, VSBs, CMMs, etc.
Review the approval of modifications and repairs.
Liaise with Compliance and Standards departments in relation to closing audit findings.
Compose business cases and risk assessments, as required.
Produce Aircraft Reliability Metrics and Technical Dispatch Reliability Reports.
Liaise with Type Certificate Holder and Component OEM for LRU root cause analysis and defect resolution.
Ensure processes and procedures are implemented to ensure continued compliance with airworthiness regulations.
On track to achieve or have recently completed a relevant Engineering degree (aeronautical or other studies related to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components).
Good interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with others at various levels across the department as well as sharing ideas and information.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and assist colleagues unprompted.
Proficient in MS Office Applications.
Can work in a fast-paced environment and keep pace with change – acquiring knowledge/skills as the business develops.
Understands the transition from student life to working life.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Eligible to live and work in the EU.
Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
Provide three verifiable references.
Able to pass a five year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
