Safran is seeking an experienced VHDL Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and a passion for developing high-quality VHDL code for complex systems. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and testing state-of-the-art electronic systems for various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and verify VHDL code for FPGA and ASIC applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and requirements.
- Perform synthesis, simulation, and debugging of VHDL designs.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Analyze and optimize designs for performance, area, and power consumption.
- Develop and maintain documentation for design processes and specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design methodologies.
- You will be working closely with the French team on projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in VHDL development for digital systems.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using FPGA/ASIC design tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim).
- Experience with verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog) is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages and RTL design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
