Summary Of Role
The Programs, Delivery & Support Division is dedicated to delivering and supporting airlines with the quality and efficiency they need to grow their business and meet the expectations of their customers. As part of this team, the Airline Delivery Manager plays a key role in ensuring the successful, high-quality, and consistent delivery of Amadeus’ full range of Airline products and services. The goal is to provide the best possible customer experience throughout the entire scope of delivery activities, including project management, implementation, development, and ongoing services.
You will be responsible for managing your own customer portfolio, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of projects and services to ensure alignment with the customer’s business objectives, while securing the corresponding revenue for Amadeus.
You will leverage your good internal network to drive collaboration across various teams, using your influence to ensure that we are consistently meeting customer expectations. Customers will look to you for functional guidance and advice on implementation, planning, prioritizing, and scheduling activities related to both projects and services.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated
Airline Delivery Manager to join our team, focusing on our Middle East, Turkey & Africa airline customers. This role will be based in
Jeddah, and we encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand the Amadeus strategic vision around the full scope of IT and digital products and services and implement it in Delivery Management
- Understand the Customer's business & strategy to ensure deliveries are prioritized in line with their needs and value realization objectives
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the customer IT & business stakeholders through a proactive management of their needs, wants and expectations
- Lead the formation of an action plan and demonstrate a sustainable high level of customer satisfaction
- Manage project management, governance and steering to ensure best practice and successful completions
- Anticipate potential issues so solutions can be implemented before problems arise in delivery projects
- Cover complex projects to ensure successful delivery by Amadeus
- Lead a high degree of interaction and effective communication between EAT, Regional and Central teams to create a best-in-class customer experience
Resources & Skills Development
- Stay up to date with product evolutions and portfolio expansion
- Adhere to standard delivery management processes, procedures, tools and techniques
- Participate in a continuous improvement process for measuring and improving performance, satisfaction and skills.
About The Ideal Candidate
- A university degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Airline IT or related sectors. Experience in Business Solutions and/or Delivery Management, with a proven track record as a Project or Program Manager within the (Airline) IT industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the airline business, GDS systems, and complex IT projects.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
