Analyst, Data Financial Planning and Analysis (JetBlue Travel Products) (FLIC)
Position Summary
The Analyst, Data Financial Planning and Analysis for JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) works collaboratively across JTP functions to promote data-driven decision-making. They support department leaders in analyzing revenue and cost elements through budgeting, forecasting, and continuous financial analytics, as well as assessments of strategic initiatives and the competitive environment. The Analyst also prepares presentations for senior leadership, including JetBlue finance partners, and takes part in monthly, quarterly, and annual variance reviews. The ideal candidate is expected to conduct various ad hoc analyses as needed, effectively communicating and educating department leaders on financial trends within the travel products sector.

Essential Responsibilities
- Reports to and collaborates with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager and JTP departments to build and maintain department annual operating budgets.
- Compiles and communicates monthly revenue and expense forecast expectations to JetBlue partners.
- Builds and fosters relationships among JTP departments including JetBlue partners.
- Assists leaders in proper financial analysis, collaboration and good thinking to provide strategic guidance and sound business decisions.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for the senior leadership team.
- Assists FP&A Manager with executive and Board of Director’s level presentations and communications, which includes education for department leaders.
- Recognizes, analyzes and models various trends within the business and travel products industry.
- Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses as assigned.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- One (1) year of analytical experience in data interpretation, trend analysis, and providing insights to support decision-making, with proficiency in analytical tools and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships.
- Can thrive in a dynamic and face-paced work environment.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience And Qualifications
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
- Experience with Google data studio.

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
