3D Design CoordinatorJohnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a 3D Design Coordinator for our client in the Indianapolis, IN area. The 3D Design Coordinator performs a variety of design and detailing activities and helps to shape the organization using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Trimble Connect and other design technology. This position is responsible for coordinating external design resources and developing internal 3D implementation processes. This role supports sales, estimating, project management, shop fabrication, and field support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience using Autodesk software to produce shop and erection drawings for a steel manufacturer.
- 1+ years’ experience in 3D modeling software Inventor or other.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or other related discipline.
- A general understanding of construction practices, principles, methods, and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment accomplishing tasks with limited resources or oversight and at a rapid pace.
- Established ability to communicate ideas, both verbal and written
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of steel structures drafting process, and the ability to convey this information to others.
- Track record of completing scheduled project deliverables on time and on budget.
- Able to properly assess and then take appropriate action to identify and solve problems during design or in the field during construction.
- Exhibits a high sense of personal motivation and urgency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail oriented problem solver
