Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Supervisor, Quality Assurance to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor will direct and coordinate operational quality functions of their defined responsibility in line with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and contracts. The QA Supervisor oversees incoming, final, in-process, quality gate and achievement inspections to find opportunities for improvement throughout the inspection cycle of components and aircraft.

Your challenges:
Review, track and process Purchase Requests, ensuring correct payment terms, HMG and alignment with process.
Issue Purchase Orders
Obtain quotes and perform Requests for Information
Ensure compliance with the procurement strategy defined by the General Procurement Board (GPB) and the Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) within the scope of the Regional Hub.
Develop and maintain an efficient supply chain capable of delivering goods/work packages (services), matching Airbus Group requirements and business objectives
Your boarding pass:
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace/Aviation related field or Equivalent Experience
4 years Quality Inspection on aircraft components and systems or
In lieu of a degree 8 years combined quality inspection and/or certificated aviation maintenance technician (AMT) on aircraft components and systems
A&P License
Able to support functions in multiple areas such as, but not limited to production, repair station, manufacturing, composites, electrical/avionics Backshop, warehousing, dynamic component repair, blades and Tailboom Backshop
Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize and handle demanding workload under strict time line.
Time management proficient, a self-starter and ability to work alone is a vital characteristic.
Customer oriented attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations 14 CFR Parts 21, 43 and 145
Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Requirements and Systems
Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel
Familiar with inspection tools, aids and devices used in determining tolerances and specification limits
Have the experience and flexibility to work in multiple areas
Must have the ability to collaborate with the external customer about aircraft and aircraft records presentation at delivery
