Job Description
As the Energy & Sustainability Manager for APAC, you will implement the agreed Rolls-Royce energy and sustainability policies, strategy and improvement programmes across the Asia Pacific sites. In this role it is expected that the individual will work closely with the business to deliver energy management and sustainability advice, guidance and energy consumption and cost reduction programmes.

Key Accountabilities:
Develop and build relationships with senior business leaders to understand how energy management and sustainability fits alongside their business drivers and issues
Engage with the businesses and establish site energy/sustainability meetings to set and agree objectives and to monitor progress in the pursuit of energy consumption and greenhouse gas reductions in line with company targets
Assist and support the Head of Energy & Sustainability to implement Rolls-Royce energy and sustainability policies and processes by evaluating their impact and identifying any areas of non-compliance and minimising risk by taking immediate action
Ensure all published SPS energy/sustainability policies and procedures are regularly reviewed, keeping pace with change in key areas, such as legislation, organisational, cultural and technological developments
Assist in communicating energy/sustainability policies to employees and stakeholders, including strategic supplier partners, contractors and visitors
Develop the continuous improvement process with the SPS supply chain, maintaining the development of the partnerships to achieve the optimum solution for all energy ans sustainability related aspects
Undertake research into current best practice, both internally and external to the organisation
Ensure adequate and suitable records and reporting monitors are in place for tracking compliance status, demonstrating a clear audit trail for achieving regulatory compliance and maintaining corporate reputation
Ensure the development and effective implementation of monitors and control systems, monitoring and reporting on energy and utility use, travel and spending trends
Liaising with both internal and external organisations, assisting all sites on energy and sustainability related issues and identifying improvement projects and initiatives
Develop energy and sustainability improvement projects that include formalising scope, obtaining quotes, performing project savings analysis and obtaining project approval
Monitor and maintain regular audits of energy management processes to demonstrate good corporate governance, ensuring completion of audit programmes, which are effective in contributing to improvement, and satisfy regulatory requirements
Manage a number of specialist suppliers / consultants to help deliver the regional energy management and sustainability programme
Qualifications:
Required to be Certified Energy Manager by National Environment Agency for Singapore(SCEM)
Role can be considered for either a full time or part time basis, kindly indicate in the questionnaire if you are open for both.
A proven knowledge in the subject matter area with the ability to articulate and promote the importance and benefits of policies within energy provision and management including an understanding of renewable technology
Energy management, sustainability and/or building services experience within an industrial or property management organisation
Policy and/or Quality Management experience desirable
Experience of dealing at high level within business organisations
Able to contribute to strategic planning
Has Company wide outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
A degree, post graduate diploma or equivalent in a related subject
Member of a relevant professional body or institute
IT skills including MS Projects, MS Excel and Quality Management Systems
