Head of Data Products (Data & Analytics)
About The Role
We are looking for a visionary “Head of Data Products” to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will lead and shape the data product strategy for our corporate functions and support integrated data product development across all business domains. As a central figure, you will collaborate closely with corporate functions, bridging gaps in data product capabilities and driving the definition, realisation, and alignment of data solutions with the organisation’s strategic goals.
Your work will create a collaborative environment where DA&I, data product managers, and product owners join forces, facilitating the alignment of business objectives with actionable data use cases and delivering top-tier, dependable data products to generate critical insights and drive business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing Strategic Leadership: Develop a visionary data product roadmap that integrates the needs of various corporate functions, aligning them with easyJet's overarching goals and ensuring maximum business impact and value.
- Collaborating cross functionally: Partner with IT, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritise data projects and products that meet business objectives, drive improvements, and promote data literacy and proficiency across the organisation.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data product delivery, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and reliable data that adheres to governance policies and enables strategic insights.
- Promote continuous improvement through innovation and technology adoption. Work with engineering and IT teams to develop robust data solutions that provide easyJet with a competitive edge.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing data product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to achieve team and organisational goals.
- Implement governance frameworks and ensure all data products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with compliance teams to manage data protection and security risks.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in creating and executing data product roadmaps that deliver measurable business value, with a focus on alignment across corporate functions.
- Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, along with proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, SQL, Python, and R.
- Skilled in aligning data science initiatives with business priorities and managing resources effectively in a hybrid team structure.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels.
- Familiarity with Agile development and DataOps frameworks, ensuring rapid, iterative, and high-quality solution delivery.
- Strong knowledge of data governance policies, regulatory standards, and the ability to maintain data integrity and security.
