We have an exciting opportunity for motivated and proactive leader to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will a ct as the Regional leader, Supply Chain representative and senior point of contact for all Supply Chain functions into the region. Develop, align, monitor, and execute the strategic direction and operational and tactical initiatives that impact Supply Chain.
Directly accountable to the Regional Leadership for all Supply Chain related business functions. Direct Link into the Global Functional Supply Chain that ensure processes, procedures, and compliance are executed in accordance with CHC Company and regulatory statues. Primary lead in the business planning process covering all Supply Chain operational aspects of the regional Supply Chain, in the region, for the region.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Plan and implement regional supply chain strategies in alignment with the global inventory team that optimize the distribution and availability of inventory to meet inventory requirements and support the operations to the highest level of service. Collaborate closely with Regional Maintenance Managers, General Operations Managers and Regional Directors on a supplier-customer basis concerning availability, performance and cost control.
- Define the inventory policy, processes and rules to reduce costs and improve working capital,
- Optimize inventories (management of slow rotations and obsolescence, management of shortages, reduction of non-turning inventory),
- Achieve coverage objectives and manage risks.
- Identify and Drive actions to sell, burn-down or dispose of unnecessary stock
- Control inventory levels and accuracy
Logistic Performance
Liaise with the Categories, the Manager of Global Logistics and the AOG Manager on monitoring and act sufficiently of urgent shipments, critical situations, and methods of transportation in order to reach a cost effective but customer focused distribution operation within the region.
Coordinate, implement, manage and monitor all distribution and warehousing activities, within the region, to ensure adherence to compliance, and effectiveness. Especially in the areas of safety, quality, cost savings, performance and productivity
- Strategically plan and supervise logistics, stores, warehouses and transportation
- Optimize performance and productivity and e nsure the warehouses and logistic network operate with resilience and at peak efficiency
- Supervise all shipments worldwide from Origin to Destination.
- Meet or Exceed performance targets. Optimize and manage risks
- Reach the objectives in terms of quality and customer satisfaction
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Freight and Operational Costs
Accountable for domestic freight and customs budget. Select and manage regional preferred carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers in close cooperation with the Global Transport Team.
- Accountable for global freight spend and warehouse operating costs
- Propose and execute corrective and preventive action plans to meet or exceed budget targets
- Plan and propose the annual freight budget in coordination with finance and management
- Manage freight forwarder performance
- Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with transporters and warehouse owners, supervise RFP
Local Procurement
Develop a robust strategic sourcing process in coordination with the Supply Chain Categories. Drive the development and negotiation of agreements and contracts across various services, supplies and aircraft material categories. Engage operational, financial and executive stakeholders to review supplier spend.
- Identify opportunities for local repair and part sourcing within the region to lower total landed costs and enhance performances.
- Analyze data, define opportunity pipelines, develop and execute sourcing strategies in coordination with the supply Chain categories.
- Strategically select services to renegotiate or take to market.
- Evaluate prospective suppliers before engaging into any agreements to ensure they meet the organisational needs.
- Determine savings targets and track performance to target. Provide metrics aligned with corporate and report out monthly
- Manage vendor relationships. Measure vendor performance and continuous improvement to support customers and operations.
Manage and grow talents
Develop regional supply chain strategies to deliver performance to internal and external customers and shape the capabilities of the supply chain by using best practices
- Manage and lead the logistic and supply chain workforce and leaders in the region regarding coaching, training, planning, performance, communication, HESS/SMS and other important tasks that influence the operational Supply Chain business
- Develop business cases when required and hire to fulfill approved personnel requisitions
- Ensure that all the teams are current from training and competency perspective
- Comply with laws, regulations, company values and ISO requirements
Manage the Supply Chain needs of the region, in line with all country laws, aviation regulations, CHC standards and communicate this clearly in the region.

Education
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Operations or Business Administration preferred
- Fluent in both written and spoken English – B2 level or higher preferred for non-native speakers
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a supply chain management role
- Record of successful inventory, procurement, distribution and/or logistics management
- Detailed understanding of aviation parts, shipping and logistics processes a plus
- Experience in rotary or fixed wing operations a plus
- Experience and proven record of leading global initiatives and/or motivating a successful team with positive results.
Certifications/Skills
- Accomplished leader, with a strong team building skills and enterprise transformation experience
- Highly Effective communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Detailed understanding of logistics, supply chain or maintenance processes preferred
- Demonstrated successful experience in working within culturally diverse regions of the world
