Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 or more years of program management or related experience
- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams
- Proven program management experience with the ability to lead multiple programs concurrently
- Collaborative leadership – successful candidate will need to collaborate with Program Director peers on successful cross contract scope regardless of portfolio alignment.
- Fully embraces OneLM Culture and ability to collaborate with other LM Business areas
- Proven track record of leading large scale, complex systems development programs over geographically dispersed locations
- Experienced strategic thought leader with proven experience developing and executing growth and cost reduction strategies
- Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs

THE WORK
The F-35 Training market segment within Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) is actively seeking a dynamic Director to lead development and modernization initiatives for F-35 Training Systems. In this influential role, you will be responsible for directing and managing all phases of product design and development for pilot and maintenance training, ensuring alignment with the F-35 Air System, product relevance, lifecycle affordability, and sustainability. As a leader within the F-35 Training enterprise, you will drive development and modernization across the training portfolio, making critical contributions to the long-term success of the F-35 Program and enhancing the training solutions we deliver to warfighters worldwide.

Technical engineering experience a plus
- Possess strong working knowledge of pilot and maintenance training devices and the development process.
- Program Manager level 3 certified
- Capture Manager level 2 certified
- Program Management experience with DevSecOps, Agile Software development, and Digital Transformation initiatives

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $300,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
