The Boeing Company is seeking a
Quality Manager to join our team in Naval Air Station
Patuxent River, MD.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
- Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
- Provide education and coaching on the Quality System
- May make airworthiness and supplier quality determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
- Acquire and manage resources and leads process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
- Manage, develop and motivate employees
- Domestic travel will be required up to 25% based on business needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams
- 3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis
- 3+ years of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business or technical field
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Master’s degree or higher in engineering, business or technical field
- Previous experience with Quality Management systems

Summary pay range: $115,600 – $156,400
