The
Associate Director, Employee Experience Campaign Communications will develop and implement internal communications strategies that inform, engage and align our global workforce to the company’s mission, values and business objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with HR, Communications leaders and cross functional teams to create cohesive and impactful messaging and an employee experience campaign that supports organizational priorities and enhances the employee experience.
In addition to developing and executing communication strategies and initiatives, you will also lead a team of talented communications professionals – mentoring and guiding the team to execute on shared objectives aligned to the Employee Experience Campaign.
What You Will Do
Leads the development and execution of the Employee Experience Campaign internal communications strategy, leveraging effective messaging to build employee connection and pride in the RTX mission, values, culture framework and purpose-driven work. Leads the continued implementation and execution of the people leader engagement communications strategy – regularly engaging people leaders to drive focus on performance, partnership and purpose by:
- Executing the Driving Performance people leader engagement series
- Developing tailored people leader flowdown resources and toolkits aligned to key leader initiatives and priorities
- Empowering people leaders to be effective communicators through enterprise leader as communicator program
- Regularly engages stakeholders across RTX to maintain understanding of strategic priorities and business performance, ensuring communications are timely and relevant.
- Tracks the effectiveness of the Employee Experience Campaign communications – leveraging performance metrics, employee feedback and data analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Partners with communicators across the RTX Communications team to share best practices and improve the consistency and quality of messaging across the organization.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience developing, executing, and measuring large-scale internal communications strategies and plans.
- Proficiency in storytelling that delivers impactful, positive outcomes.
- Skilled in conveying complex information in a compelling and understandable manner as well as adapting tone and style of communications to suit various audiences.
- Proficient in using various communications platforms and tools (i.e., Microsoft Office, Poppulo, etc.).
- Prior project management experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.
Minimum Program Qualifications
To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:
- Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
