Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Ensures property is managed in accordance with applicable government regulations, corporate policy, and local procedures to achieve operational excellence.
- Manage the asset management records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records.
- Provides barcode tags and perform equipment tagging.
- Reviews, researches, analyzes and resolves issues raised by property receiving discrepancies and supporting audits where needed by team.
- Reviews new part procurement listings for determination of quality clause requirements and manages those entries for calibration and tagging at the receipt point.
- Entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge.
- Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information.
- Contributes to systems and processes changes in work routines.
- Supports lean six sigma process improvement projects and 5S+1 clean-up events.
- Coordinates disposal activities of excess equipment for Facilities and Finance for capital and expensed equipment.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of test equipment and maintenance requirements (TMDE)
- Familiarity with reutilization of equipment and basic knowledge of disposition requirements
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Ability to lift/move 40 lbs
- HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
- Data analysis skills including familiarity with MS Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables are preferred
- Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system is beneficial
- Ability to gain ESD certification and knowledge of test equipment utilization
