The Strategic Partnership Manager, APAC is responsible for maintaining the day to day operations between Collins Aerospace and our strategic partners in the APAC region. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day to day operations required pertaining to any businesses related to the partnerships
- Maintaining and building on collaborations and projects between the partners
- Strengthening of strategic partnerships
- Managing day to day operations arising out of any joint ventures with the partners
As the business grows and expands, there may be additional collaborative projects with the partners added to the portfolio. This position will be based in Beijing, China and reporting to a Senior Manager based in Singapore.
In this role, you will apply your relationship management, project management, technical experience and customer focus skills to advance and protect Collins Aerospace interests while driving deeper collaboration with our strategic partners. The role will collaborate closely with Program Management, Project Management, Product Management in APAC as well as global engineering teams and vendors to deliver projects and outstanding customer service.
A key measure of success will be the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams within and outside the company, to efficiently and successfully deliver complex projects on time and within budget while achieving high levels of satisfaction with the partners.
Job Responsibilities
- On-time project delivery for projects with the APAC partners, collaborating with internal engineering teams, shared services teams, and partners / subcontractors etc.
- Managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with the various partners
- Reporting key metric and timeline updates on deliverables to the Senior Manager
- Performing any other duties related to partnership management
- Maintaining knowledge of Collins organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to the partners
Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience with airline operations processes / aerospace Industry
- 3+ years experience working for/with government linked organizations
- University or equivalent professional qualification
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Fluent in English
- Project Management skillset
- Proficient in MS Office (Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communications skills (oral and written)
- Strong team player, effective interpersonal skills, ability to work with remote teams
- Excellent time management and independent decision-making skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or AGILE certified
- Experience in the aviation datalink and/or ground communication networks
