As part of the wider Communications and Corporate Affairs (G) organization, the Events and Exhibitions team (GB) is an international, cross-divisional and multicultural team who values different ways of thinking and working to shape and deliver memorable customer experiences to grow the Airbus brand and reputation at the highest level.
The Communications function ensures a trusted and timely dialogue with internal and external stakeholders of Airbus, its divisions and subsidiaries.
The function is constantly evolving to set new standards in product and corporate communication to drive the company strategy, nurture partnerships and build a strong brand reputation around the world.
You will be responsible for the management of VIP visits in France, on Marignane site

Job Description
Your main activities
Accountabilities
Act as a project manager for Protocol and Events activities with a particular focus on Marignane site
Plan and deliver on time and on quality Protocol and Events activities in Marignane
Engage with Senior Management and their offices for all hospitality and VIP visits
Effectively ensure a working partnership with transnational and trans divisional colleagues where appropriate.
Cooperate with site management and services for on site events
Work closely with AH Communications and Marketing teams across Airbus to ensure consistent communication, visibility and best practice sharing
Acts and behaves by respecting Ethics and Compliance rules
Main Functional Activities
Organize VIP visits : A visit is the welcoming and accompanying of a group of visitors or a single visitor who wants or needs to either visit a site, a production / assembly line, a research project, or be presented with a product, a showroom, etc. For Airbus, accommodating such visits supports brand promotion.
Be able to present Airbus Helicopters, Airbus and all the different Final Assembly Lines/ Workshops included in the ‘circuit de nototriété’ to the customers
Plan, implement, deliver and evaluate visits on request of and in harmonization with the Communications processes to the highest professional standards ensuring engagement of appropriate stakeholders throughout the planning and delivery process.
Collect brief and all necessary information to ascertain precise events requirements
Be responsible for the visit
Decide on treatment for each visitor and take necessary actions or delegate tasks to outside suppliers.
Coordinate all subcontractors during the visit
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are respected
Manage the budget
Organize follow-up sessions for lessons learnt and recommendations for the next editions
Key Outputs and deliverables
Develop a range of creative and cost-effective tools, resources and platforms that combine the best of face-to-face, print, audiovisual, exhibition and digital techniques.
Act as advisor to ensure VIP visits, either for communications or in support of other functions when involving top management, are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a good network within the company to support the Top Management
Provide guidelines, policies and support to promote quality, alignment, transparency, honesty and eco-efficiency in events and protocol.
Apply Airbus standards by always being customer oriented and by customizing visits and events according to the stakeholder’s culture, expectations and requirements
Give advice on both content and format and take necessary actions or delegate tasks to outside suppliers.
About you:
As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

- Works in a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to Align budgets, processes, messaging, tools, timing and measurement across all divisions, subsidiaries and functions to reduce waste, identify synergies, mitigate risk, share best practice, maximize impact and increase return on investment
- Ability to pre plan and manage large scale and high profile events
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Good knowledge of the company and the industry
- Ability to work with people from all levels, from local contractors to VIPs and Senior Management (external and internal) and to influence your network and stakeholders
- Ability to work with senior management and business areas
- Ability to manage a budget
- Good knowledge of the Airbus procurement process
- Very good knowledge of compliance regulations and processes
