About The Opportunity
Join our IT Center of Excellence PLM team at GKN Aerospace Engines Trollhättan, where we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering. We are looking for a PLM Solution Architect to drive and enrich our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) landscape and initiatives.
The PLM Center of Excellence forms part of the wider Engineering IT team, an integral part of the Engines Digital Office.
Job Description
As a PLM Solution Architect, you will design, develop, and implement solutions in our global PLM environment based on Siemens PLM. You will utilize frameworks such as BMIDE, Teamcenter Services, ITK, and NX Open to configure and extend PLM functionalities. Applying test-driven development practices, you will ensure high-quality software delivery. Your role will involve developing software in C# (.net), C, C++, and PowerShell to support the PLM platform. Additionally, you will manage and optimize CI/CD (Azure DevOps) pipelines, configuration management, and Git repositories. Automating testing and deployment processes will be key to enhancing efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a PLM Solution Architect with expertise in Teamcenter and NX. Strong knowledge in BMIDE, Teamcenter configuration, Teamcenter Services, ITK, and NX Open frameworks is essential. You should be proficient in test-driven development and software development in C#, C, C++ and PowerShell. Experience with Azure DevOps, configuration management, and Git is required. Skills and interest in automation testing and deployment automation is key. A solid understanding of general IT concepts, including network, database, and server management is desirable.
