Position Summary
As a Trainer in our FBO, you will be responsible for developing the capabilities of our new and existing employees. You will ensure that we have a team that can meet its current and future business objectives and our customers' needs by delivering quality services according to Jet Aviation’s safety standards.
Compensation Data
The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range will be as follows: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour."
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Line and Ramp services vocational training/ technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in the field of Line & Ramp Services having full knowledge of all related processes and procedures including NFPA 407: Standard of Aircraft Fuel Servicing; ATA Specification 103: Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports and Fuel Storage Area (SIDA) Regulations
- Must be able to obtain a Certificate from NATA Line Service training program within 60 days of employment
- Ability to effectively present information, instruct, share knowledge, and respond to questions
- Possess valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical ground operations training targeting learning objectives and required job competencies
- Monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs and results, develop new and modify existing training programs to make sure that relevant, accurate and up-to-date information is presented
- Deliver training that is active, relevant and draws on the experiences of the training participants
- Determine training effectiveness by frequently checking student comprehension and understanding throughout the training period
- Post training follow-up using observations and interviews to verify that learning objectives were met and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements
- Other duties as assigned
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
