The TOCC Crew Travel Consultant role sits within the TUI Operations Control Centre (TOCC) supporting airlines across Aviation. This role is responsible for ensuring all Northern Region Pilots and Cabin Crew have the required hotel and travel arrangements in place to ensure they can be available and appropriately rested for their rostered flights.
You will work closely with the Crew Travel Consultants in Manpower Planning and Crew Planning to ensure principles, policies and processes are applied consistently for Crew Travel throughout the period from pre-season through to the day of operation.
You will work a rotating onsite shift pattern covering 12 hour shifts between 07:00 - 19:00. Shift patterns rotate over the full 365 days per year so weekend work will be a requirement of the role.

About The Job
As a TOCC Crew Travel Consultant your main focus is to support Northern Region Airlines’ crew by delivering a safe and cost-efficient service to our crew communities.
Working alongside the TOCC Crewing teams in both Luton and in Stockholm, you will ensure that crew have all the correct hotel and travel arrangements in place to allow them to perform their duties in accordance with Flight Time Limitations and relevant trade union agreements. You will need to be pro-active, anticipating the needs of our crew in light of any changes to the programme or the operation to explore all possible travel options, delivering to tight deadlines and within budgetary targets.
You are the first point of contact for crew when they have a hotel and/or travel query within the operational window (D-72h) You will ensure that any Crew Travel issues within the D-72hr operational window are logged, investigated and raised appropriately to continually improve our service, collaborate with Crew Travel colleagues in the Crew Planning department to ensure clear information flows, feedback and continuous improvement.
About You
- Ability to work under pressure; assimilate information, determine priorities and make decisions based on sound judgement
- Excellent IT skills and proven capability in MS office applications is essential
- Previous experience in a customer service based role
- Understanding of airline legal agreements would be preferable
- Process and detail orientated with excellent organisational skills
- Strong inter-personal and excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to work as part of a team
- An enthusiastic ambassador of change who makes suggestions for improvement
- Working knowledge of CAP and/or Bookmaker Systems is preferable
- Working knowledge of Amadeus (or equivalent CRS) preferable.
