About The Role & Team
The PMO PC will be responsible for supporting the definition, implementation, and project management processes and standards maintenance. This role involves reviewing and ensuring the quality of project deliverables, creating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously help to improve project management practices within the EURO GEO organization.
This position thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment that spans the globe and welcomes cultural differences. Therefore, one will succeed in this role with a result-oriented approach and appreciate different perspectives and cultures.
What You Will Do
- Process Definition and Implementation: Participate in the development and implementation of standardized project management processes and methodologies. Ensure that all project management activities are align with organizational goals and best practices.
- KPI Development and Portfolio Monitoring: support the development of KPIs to measure project or portfolio performance and success. Monitor and analyze project metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Portfolio Management Support: Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, monitor project financials, and economic indicators. Monitor project risk management, identify improvement areas, and propose effective controls to ensure project success. Track performance against KPIs, ensure compliance with quality standards, perform feasibility analysis, and select strategic projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization's project management framework.
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop, maintain and update comprehensive documentation of project management processes, standards, and guidelines in other to create a “knowledge base” for the organization. Prepare and present regular reports on project performance and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Training and Support: Provide training, advice and support to project managers and team members on project management processes and tools. Help new members onboarding. Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to established processes and standards, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
- Organizational Change Management: Facilitate, develop and implement change management initiatives to ensure smooth and successful adoption of new processes and technologies across teams. Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Formal project management training
- 1 year experience in defining and implementing project management processes, preferably in an IT environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of organizational change management principles and practices.
- Experience in IT project management desired but not mandatory.
- Good English level (B2-C1), as you will be working with international teams.
