General Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the planning/scheduling function by ensuring overall program execution. Conducts capacity requirements planning (CRP) to ensure a controlled flow for the manufacturing process and availability of all resources required to meet customer/production requirements while defining need for purchased product. Collaborates with the Integrated Product Teams and respective functional staff to support on-time delivery.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Launches manufacturing orders to achieve Program Schedule.
- Evaluates MRP action reports and prepares, as well as approves, RFQs, quotes, and routers.
- Establishes and maintains program delivery schedule and shortage reports.
- Maintains purchased product and inventory levels to prevent/eliminate excess inventory.
- Generate work orders, material purchase requisitions and create risk management plans for all assigned programs.
- Interfaces with customers, subcontractors, and selects suppliers.
- Incorporates all ECN’s and adheres to S.O.W. and Clin Requirements.
- Participates in ensuring that procedures and processes adhere to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements.
Job Specifications
Two years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred. Position requires knowledge of materials procurement process critical path analysis, and risk management. Candidate should have competencies in a variety of software applications including MRP systems, MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel. Candidate must be able to manage multiple schedules concurrently and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Experience in developing and maintaining a program schedule in an Earned Value Management environment desired. Must be a US Citizen/US Person.
