Position Summary
The Specialist, Card & Travel Products – Limited Term is a subject matter expert in driving revenue by developing and implementing strategies to acquire new Hawaiian Airlines MasterCard cardholders in the U.S. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to make decisions in driving cardholder acquisition through employee and inflight channels, and partnering cross-functionally with Barclay’s, internal groups, and external agencies.
This position has an estimated duration of 9 months. Note that no relocation assistance is available for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing key acquisition channels including but not limited to driving strategy for program growth, developing marketing promotions, managing program and offer changes, and executing marketing plans
- Develop, implement, and track marketing promotions and campaigns
- Responsible for developing, tracking, and reporting on data associated with designed marketing channel performance and provide insights on performance results
- Manage relationship with bank channel managers
- Lead IT projects between bank partner and internal stakeholders for projects correlating to designated acquisition channel(s)
- Lead discussions with internal partners to develop marketing materials for various platforms
- Responsible for presenting on channel performance and recommendations to management
- Manage external agencies and vendors to develop and execute program initiatives
- Provide program administrative support such as customer service, accounting, invoicing, IT administration, and database support
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience
- 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consumer-oriented marketing and/or financial products
- Proficient in MS applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Critical thinking and investigative skills a must, strong problem solver
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); must be able to effectively communicate with internal departments and external customers / business partners
- Must be able to work independently and cross functionally work with internal and external partners
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Ability to learn and use new database and software platforms to support program servicing

Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $65,600- $86,100.
