Position Summary - Join us!
We are seeking a highly motivated individual working towards a quantitative degree to join Breeze’s Ancillary Revenue and Guest Analytics team in the summer of 2025. Within the Network Planning and Revenue Management department, the Ancillary Revenue and Guest Analytics Intern will perform data analysis, develop economic models, and monitor industry dynamics to produce actionable insights that optimize ancillary revenue and drive guest retention and satisfaction.
Here's what you'll do
- Leverage descriptive data analytics to lead commercial business adjustments, highlighting ancillary performance across routes, guest segments, and more.
- Design, deploy, and analyze pricing experiments (e.g., A/B testing) on ancillary products to drive necessary pricing changes and/or develop applied economic models.
- Utilize developed ancillary insights to meaningfully contribute to cross-department projects within Marketing, E-Commerce, Product Management, etc.
- Bring new thinking to the growing ancillary team, offering fresh perspectives on product ideation and mix.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on the flying behavior of our guests, their spending patterns, and their satisfaction to drive guest-centric decision-making in collaboration with the Revenue Management, Network Planning, and Loyalty teams.
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the commercial aviation industry, namely within ancillary products, network, and loyalty.
- Prepare and present various findings on all the above to commercial leadership through detailed reports and data visualizations.
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Science, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of working experience in commercial strategy, revenue and/or financial analysis, data science, or a related discipline, preferably within team settings.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and a strong desire to deliver results.
- Willingness to learn the facets of commercial aviation – no prior industry experience required!
Skills/Talents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic proficiency in some data analysis platform (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Basic proficiency in some data-related programming language (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization.
