About The Role
The role requires a strategic and proactive individual with experience in B2B sales, particularly in defense procurement, MRO operations, and tender-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by targeting procurement units within defense and aviation ecosystems.
- Build and nurture relationships with procurement officers, MRO buyers, and logistics/supply chain heads.
- Prepare and manage inquiries, quotations, government tenders (RFPs/RFQs), and contract execution.
- Lead the entire sales cycle: from lead generation to closure and post-sales support.
- Monitor government procurement platforms and defense tender portals to identify opportunities.
- Ensure timely coordination with internal teams for order fulfillment, delivery tracking, and client communication.
- Conduct product demos and provide basic technical support as needed.
- Achieve defined sales targets and regularly report progress to senior leadership.
- Candidate Profile:
- 4–6 years of B2B sales experience in tools, hardware, industrial consumables, or aviation spares.
- Proven track record in handling government or defense procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of tender documentation, contract terms, and pricing structures.
- Familiar with aviation MRO operations and industrial supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/CRM platforms.
- Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach and high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with defense organizations, aviation contractors, or MRO service providers.
- Knowledge of GeM portal and other government procurement platforms.
- Familiarity with defense industry compliance and procurement standards
