Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate NOTAMs and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) updates to identify operational impacts and recommend actions.
- Assess operational feasibility, including payload analysis, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for aerodromes.
- Validate aerodrome obstacle databases for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage navigation databases, including validation and communication of updates.
- Review and validate aeronautical charts to support safe flight operations.
- Determine aerodrome operating minima based on regulatory and performance criteria.
- Prepare performance charts for take-off and landing to optimize Regulated Take-Off Weight (RTOW) and Regulated Landing Weight (RLW).
- Compute aircraft performance factors for integration into Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Monitor fuel consumption and plan fuel budgets; generate arrival delay and taxi fuel estimates.
- Track carbon emissions and ensure compliance with CORSIA and DGCA requirements.
- Coordinate with DGCA for aircraft induction and approvals for special operations, ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs).
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of DGCA Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs) and airline regulations.
- Proficiency in Airbus Basic/Advanced Performance Engineering programs or Boeing Performance Engineering tools.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure airline environment.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with aviation software tools for flight performance, charts, and fuel analysis.
