About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our engineering team as Head – Planning. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance planning and ensuring strict compliance with aviation safety and regulatory standards. The position requires a proactive approach to team development, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of maintenance schedules in line with regulatory timelines and operational requirements.
- Coordinate planning activities across departments, including production, training, and technical services.
- Ensure full adherence to DGCA regulations and aviation safety standards.
- Analyze operational risks and implement preventative and corrective planning solutions.
- Mentor, guide, and manage a high-performing planning team.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in aviation maintenance planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation compliance requirements and DGCA regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Avionics Engineering; or a valid AME license.
- Proficient in the use of modern maintenance planning tools and systems.
