Job Purpose:
Coordinate, control and develop issuance of aircraft maintenance tools.
Main Accountabilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance policies.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, functional and operational tests, and return‑to‑service checks on assigned GSE.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, alter, modify and test systems and components per technical manuals and approved procedures.
- Remove and replace components and major assemblies; perform cleaning, servicing, adjustments and operational checks.
- Operate, recover, tow, or move GSE as required for shop or line support.
- Use specialized tooling, calibrated test equipment and approved shop forms and technical data systems.
- Maintain and operate the tool crib: receive, inspect, issue, clean, store, document, and track tools and consumables.
- Perform minor tool repairs and route major repairs to approved vendors/shops; ensure calibration schedules are met.
- Monitor consumables and small spares, report reorder needs and assist with stock control.
- Provide technical assistance to workshop activities and evaluate daily shop operations.
- Complete required maintenance and the tool records accurately.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Education Degree:
High School / Technical Diploma or any related major
SKILLS:
Communication skills, Teamwork, Computer Use, Time Management, Knowledge of Policy & Procedure
QUALIFICATION / LANGUAGES:
Standardized Test for English Proficiency (STEP) by QIYAS with the minimum score of 47.
