Job Purpose
Accountable for the effective and efficient management and oversight of all RUH and Domestic Maintenance functions. Provides leadership for 24/7 RUH and Domestic maintenance operations, including A-check and Tooling teams, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability, and world-class operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide overall direction for achieving Division objectives through effective leadership, performance management, and team development.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership to align efforts and achieve strategic objectives.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all maintenance operations.
- Actively manage incidents to minimize risks and losses, ensuring employee well-being.
- Support employee engagement in Safety Management System development and safety culture.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement RUH & Domestic Maintenance operations.
- Ensure continuous compliance with aircraft maintenance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee 24/7 RUH and Domestic maintenance, including A-check and Tooling teams.
- Manage technical projects as directed by Head of Maintenance Operations.
- Ensure certifying staff maintain current authorizations through planned training programs.
- Apply Human Factors and Human Performance principles in the work environment.
- Evaluate maintenance standards and ensure service providers meet contractual performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with customer instructions.
Strategical & Organizational Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Air Transport’s Safety strategy aligned with SBU vision.
- Provide input for designing optimal organizational structures to ensure resource efficiency and effective communication.
- Participate in corporate decision-making to maximize profitability and shareholder returns.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
Budgeting & Financial Performance Responsibilities:
- Direct the preparation and consolidation of the Division’s budget; monitor financial performance against targets.
- Control costs related to RUH & Domestic maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement policies, systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance and cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental management standards.
- Participate in emergency response planning and implementation as required.
Corporate Accountabilities:

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Avionics, Industrial, or a related discipline).
Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in maintenance operations or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years in a managerial position within a similar domain.
