What’s The Role All About?
To support the Reliability Engineering Division in monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of PAL’s aircraft, engines, and components by conducting reliability studies, ensuring compliance with the Reliability Control Program, and implementing corrective actions. The role safeguards the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the fleet while supporting continuous airworthiness improvements.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the airline or aviation industry
- Proficient in Power BI, with the ability to leverage data visualization for performance analysis and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical thinking with proven problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated ability to stay updated with industry trends and innovations to effectively fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities
Major Responsibility Areas
- Process reliability program requirements, including delay/cancellation reporting, unscheduled removals, and repetitive defect tracking
- Generate preliminary reliability statistics and assist in preparing reports
- Conduct analysis of reliability data for fleet, systems, and components
- Review and document provisions for accomplished reliability reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness in databases and records
- Provide technical input for Reliability Review Board (RRB) meetings and propose corrective actions for recurring issues
