What’s The Role All About?
Oversight in the policy, management, control, and implementation of aircraft maintenance, programs, and projects for the safe, reliable, and presentable operation of all PAL aircraft fleet including its components, electrical/avionics systems, data link, ensuring compliance in coordinated, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- CAAP License, FAA or EASA certification, and passing the Engineering Board Exam is advantage
- Must have a strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Major Responsibility Areas
- Compliance with applicable aviation authorities' regulations mandatory requirements, approved standards, regular submission of required reports/documents/data, and ensures updated references are made available to all personnel responsible for handling aircraft airworthiness
- Oversee the development, evaluate, submit for authority approval and implement aircraft maintenance program based on manufacturer's recommendation, internal reliability analysis, in-service experience and operator's desired customer impact
- Oversight special programs, mandatory modifications, repairs, including but not limited to coordination with various stakeholders (internal or external to PAL) and forward-looking control measures
- Analyze deviations or proposed action plans regarding resolutions of significant technical problem areas that lower aircraft dispatch reliability or higher maintenance costs
- Provide support and assistance in providing data relevant to notifying relevant offices in cases of aircraft incidents/accidents
