As the
Manager Workforce Planning & Crewing Operations, you’ll play a critical leadership role ensuring Jetconnect delivers safe, efficient, and compliant operations for our client, Qantas Airways Limited. This is more than an operational role, it’s an opportunity to influence strategy, drive transformation, and shape the future of our workforce planning and crewing function.
You’ll lead a team of direct reports, overseeing crewing operations, resource planning and systems, ensuring optimal utilisation of Flight and Cabin Crew resources are achieved across day-of-operations and long-term planning. Your decisions will directly impact operational performance, compliance, and Jetconnect’s value proposition to Qantas.
To Be Successful, You’ll Have
- Compliance expertise and a strong understanding of regulatory and industrial frameworks.
- Confidence in owning decisions and delivering outcomes under pressure.
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing operational teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Previous experience in aviation operations (preferred) or transferable skills from transport, logistics, or similar industries.
- Technical proficiency in crew planning systems (Jeppesen, iFlight, ARMS desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
